The Will M. Ensley Memorial Scholarship Foundation was established in 2023 after the tragic death of Will Ensley. Will was an excellent student, and a strong competitive swimmer. The foundation bearing his name was established to aid those who swam competitively in high school in furthering their education after their high school graduation.
The Will Ensley Invitational Swim Meet is a boys high school swim meet held each January at the Shawnee Mission School District Aquatic Center in Lenexa, KS. We offer commemorative, fundraiser t-shirts for sale at the meet each year.
​We have received our 501C3 public charity status. We awarded our first scholarship to a class of 2024 Shawnee Mission Northwest High School graduate swimmer in January 2025 for the spring college semester.

Each subsequent year we plan to award two scholarships with one awarded to a graduate from the Shawnee Mission Northwest High School Swim Program, and one to a graduate from the Empire KC swim club.
