The Will M. Ensley Memorial Scholarship Foundation was established in 2023 after the tragic death of Will Ensley. Will was an excellent student, and a strong competitive swimmer. The foundation bearing his name was established to aid those who swam competitively in high school in furthering their education after their high school graduation.

We received our 501C3 public charity status, and awarded our first scholarship to a class of 2024 Shawnee Mission Northwest High School graduate swimmer.
Each subsequent year we award two scholarships with one awarded to a graduate from the Shawnee Mission Northwest High School Swim Program, and one to a graduate from the Empire KC swim club. We also supply necessary equipment to the Shawnee Mission Northwest swim teams.
